This is my first time in Baku and I am very pleased to participate in the first Caspian Transport and Logistics Forum. Through this event and the whole of Baku Energy Week, you can see how fast Azerbaijan's infrastructure is developing, which is very important for building logistics supply chains.
Azerbaijan is an important transit link on the route of the Great Silk Road, the Middle Corridor, which is of key importance due to the new geopolitical environment.
Azerbaijan actively works within the framework of our organization, which unites 30 states of the world. There are 13 East-West and North-South trade and transport corridors. Azerbaijan is a logistic hub of the South Caucasus and Central Asia region. I am confident that the growth of transportation in the region will increase in the future, and we are working together to gradually meet all the challenges related to these expectations.
