Kanan Tabasaransky is an entrepreneur and business leader with nearly two decades of experience in building and scaling technology companies. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Smart Solutions Group, he has led the development of innovative digital platforms and enterprise solutions that support organisations in both the public and private sectors. His work focuses on identifying new opportunities, creating sustainable business models, and enabling long-term growth through technology, strategic partnerships, and market innovation.

Founded by Kanan in 2006, Smart Solutions Group has grown into a diversified organisation with a team of more than 130 professionals. Under his leadership, the company has established a strong reputation as a provider of comprehensive digital solutions and a trusted partner in the implementation of large-scale digital transformation initiatives for businesses and government institutions.

In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Kanan actively contributes to the development of the broader business ecosystem. He served as the Chair of the Procurement Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham) and previously led the Procurement Working Group. He is also a member of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Kanan’s leadership and his contribution to economic development and digital transformation have been recognised with the “Tereggi” Medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Holding an engineering degree from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, as well as additional education in business administration and technology management, he combines technical expertise with strategic business thinking.
